Carrie June Hill

A funeral service for Carrie Hill is scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery.

Carrie died April 4 at her grandmother’s home in Bridgeport.

She was 4 years old.

Carrie was born May 27, 1995 in Cottonwood.

Survivors include her mother, Stacy Sheehan of Cottonwood; step-father, Michael Sheehan of Cottonwood; a brother, Steven T. Sheehan of Cottonwood; grandparents Barbara and Charles Hill, and Anna Sheehan of Cottonwood; great-grandparents, Wendell and Kathleen Whisman of Bisbee, and Mary Karrish of Cottonwood, and her great-great-grandmother, Gertrude Waters of Bisbee.

Memorial donations in Carrie’s name may be made to Bank of America Account # 004672911730.

Iva C. Williams

Cottonwood resident Iva Williams died March 27.

She was 61 years old.

Mrs. Williams was born Feb. 21, 1939 in Columbus, Ind.

Survivors include two daughters, Iva Mae and Donna Sue Williams, two brothers, Austin Henry of Indiana and Paul Henry of Pennsylvania, and five grandchildren.

Private family services were held.

George O. Reves

Private family services were held for George Oren Reves of Camp Verde.

Mr. Reves died April 1 at the age of 75.

He was born Feb. 12, 1925 in Gustine, Calif.

A former resident of California, Mr. Reves was a physician in general practice. He had lived in Arizona for 24 years.

Mr. Reves was a US Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his two daughters, Nanette Houlihan of Camp Verde and Alison Reves of West Virginia; two sons-in-law, Jim and Mark; a son, George Reves of Nevada; a daughter-in-law, Jenny and six grandchildren.

Jessie S. Simpson

Homemaker and Rimrock resident Jessie Simpson died April 4.

She was 75 years old.

Mrs. Simpson was born Jan. 1, 1925 in Greenville, S.C.

She was a member of the Beaver Creek Baptist Church where she volunteered in the church choir.

Mrs. Simpson had formerly worked in California as a supervisor in one of the state’s county offices.

Survivors include her husband, Donald E. Simpson; a daughter, Mary Jane; two sons, Thomas and Christopher and five sisters, Mildred, Elizabeth, Thomasene, Kathrine and Judith.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Beaver Creek Baptist Church in Rimrock.
