Don R. Ruthrauff

Lake Montezuma resident Don Ruthrauff died April 24.

He was 73 years old.

Mr. Ruthrauff was born Oct. 10, 1926 in South Haven, Kan.

He was a manufacturing representative for a cabinet shop before retiring. Mr. Ruthrauff was also a veteran serving in the US Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Helen J. Ruthrauff of Lake Montezuma; four daughters, Samantha J. Ruthrauff of Lake Montezuma, Valerie and Shelly Scott of Tucson and Tracy Hein of Iowa; two sons, Bruce W. Scott of Washington and Clifford Scott of Carson City; two brothers, Marion Ruthrauff of California and Orie Ruthrauff of Texas; his mother-in-law, Fern H. Bruce of Lake Montezuma; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Memorial donations in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society at PO Box 102454, Atlanta, Ga. 30368-2454 or to the American Kidney Fund at 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, Md. 20852.

Private family services have already been held.

Thelma M. Turner

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood for Cottonwood resident Thelma Turner.

Mrs. Turner died April 25 at the age of 79.

She was born April 25 in Center Township, Iowa.

Mrs. Turner worked for Verde Floral for many years. An artist, she enjoyed oil painting, especially those with western themes and scenery. While in Iowa she was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Turner will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and friend.

Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Sample of Texas; two brothers, Ruth Dunn and Shirley Simkin of Iowa; a brother, Irl Brandmeyer of Iowa; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2929 S. 48th St. Tempe, Ariz. 85282.

David W. Clubb

Clarkdale resident David Clubb died April 23.

He was born in Phoenix on Dec. 25, 1956.

Mr. Clubb was 43 years old.

He was a painter and lived in the Verde Valley for 20 years.

Survivors include wife, Sherrie Clubb; two sons, Michael and Rocky; two daughters, Alexis and Charlie; his mother Melba; five sisters; four brothers and two grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled today at the Church of Latter-day Saints in Cottonwood at 2 p.m.

James Harold Darum

Friends and families are invited to a celebration of life scheduled April 30, 2 to 4 p.m. at the home of Sedona resident James Darum who died April 22.

Mr. Darum was born June 22, 1912 in Booneville, Ind.

He was 87 years old.

Mr. Darum was raised in Indiana and attended the University of Indiana for two years. A resident of Arizona for 43 years and owned and operated the Flagstaff Beauty College from 1960-1971. For a short time he worked for a water company in Flagstaff.

Mr. Darum and his wife moved to Sedona after their retirement.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Margaret Darum; two sons, James E. Darum of Camp Verde and Jack R. Darum of Flagstaff; a sister, Emily Pridmore of Phoenix; one grandchild; two step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
