Quilters piece together 'Show for all Seasons'<br>

"A Show for all Seasons," sponsored by the Quail Country Quilters of Cottonwood will be held at the Civic Center in Old Town Cottonwood on April 6, 7 and 8. This fourth quilt show is held every other year.

In addition to the show, there will be a boutique of handmade items made by the quilters and a raffle of the beautiful bed quilt, which has been pieced, appliqued and quilted by numerous members. Proceeds from this event fund the club's budget and service projects for two years.

Large and small bed quilts, wall quilts, quilted wearable clothing and dolls will be featured. Many of these items will be for sale.

Drawings for door prizes for our guests will be made every hour throughout the show. Guests can select their favorite quilts on Friday and Saturday. The opportunity quilt, as well as a wall hanging, will be raffled off on Sunday at 3 p.m. Winners need not be present. Raffle tickets will be sold all three days up until raffle time.

There will also be vendors selling fabrics, quilt patterns, quilting supplies, sewing notions, books and more.

The Civic Center is located on the curve in old town Cottonwood. Hours of the show are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 6, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 7-8. Admission donation is $2 for adults, $1 for students. Under 10 and over 80 are free.

The members of the Quail Country Quilters are proud of their creations and invite the public to come to the show. They hope you will enjoy viewing them as much as they had making them.

The Quail Country Quilters, a chapter of the Arizona Quilters Guild, was founded in 1988 and has approximately 84 members. They meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at VFW Post 7400, 705 E. Aspen Street in Cottonwood. Visitors are welcome.
