Get ready for Sedona Marathon

Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village will be an associate sponsor of the Sedona Marathon on Feb. 11. It will host pre-race registration packet pick-up in La Sala Milagros, its new community meeting room.

"Tlaquepaque is a landmark of Sedona and we are proud to work with them for the Sedona Marathon," said Karen Livesay, co-founder of Four Winds Adventures, promoters of the Sedona Marathon.

"Sedona is known for its arts and culture base, and fine dining, and Tlaquepaque represents all of that and will be a great gathering point for race participants."

Wendy Lippman, managing partner of Tlaquepaque, added, "The Sedona Marathon is sure to become a highlight on the annual Sedona event calendar and Tlaquepaque is proud to be part of it in its inaugural year."

The first Sedona Marathon event also will include a half-marathon and a 5K fun run/walk concurrently debut making the event appealing to attending endurance athletes' friends and families as well as eager locals.

The three runs will showcase Sedona's spectacular backdrop of natural beauty. For more information, go to www.sedonamarathon.com.
