Kathryn B. Jones

Kathryn B. Jones, 80, died June 15, 2005, at her home in Camp Verde after a long battle with cancer. She was born on Jan. 14, 1925, in Belleville, Mich., to Roy and Leticia Lane.

She loved making quilts, working jigsaw puzzles and her family. She was a volunteer at the Camp Verde Chamber of Commerce for eight years until her illness.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband E. Dwight "Ike" Jones and a sister, Margaret Drumm. She is survived by four children, daughters Lucinda Loucks (Terry) and Diana Sattison (Carey) of Angola, Ind., a son Douglas D. Jones (Virginia) of Camp Verde and a daughter Barbara Bridge (Willie) of Camp Verde. She also leaves nine grand children and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Greer's Mortuary of Sedona assisted the family with the arrangements.

Faith I. Hutchings

Faith Isabell Hutchings, 75, died June 16, 2005, in Lake Havasu City. She was born to Harvey and Grace (Hallman) Hutchings on Aug. 22, 1929, in Bancroft, Mich.

Faith retired to Glendale in 1993 and then moved to Cottonwood from Bremerton, Wash., where she worked for James H. Robinson as a bookkeeper. Faith had 30-plus years experience as a full charge bookkeeper for various companies.

Faith spent many hours researching family genealogies. She traveled extensively, sometimes in pursuit of family ancestral information. She belonged to an on-line Pennsylvania Dutch Genealogical Group. Faith belonged to St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Cottonwood. She was a senior companion for Catholic Social Services in Cottonwood for several years.

Faith volunteered her time and resources for a Cottonwood informal "talking book" club for the visually impaired.

Faith is survived by her loving family, brothers, Paul Hutchings and his wife, Gerry, of Williamsport, Md., and Harvey Hutchings and his wife, Vera, of Lake Havasu City.
