Pauline L. Cooper
Pauline L. Cooper, 72, of Camp Verde, died Dec. 23, 2006, in Mesa. She was born Feb. 25, 1934, in Buna, Texas, to Daniel and Myrtle Rodgers.
Pauline was retired from her family-owned trucking business. She was married to the late Herbert Cooper.
She was known as the "Tool Lady" at the indoor flea market in Camp Verde. She was a member of the Cottonwood United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed watching baseball, basketball, and NASCAR.
She leaves behind her sons, Clarence E. Cooper and Doug Cooper, both of Camp Verde; her sister, Odessa Sowell of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be today, Dec. 29, at 10:30 a.m. at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale.

Barbara Jo Murdaugh
Barbara Jo Murdaugh, 65, a resident of Cornville, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006.
She was born on July 27, 1941, in Firebrick, Ky.
Barbara worked for the Ace Express Shuttle Service and at the Verde Valley Medical Center.
She was a member of the Garden Community Church, and she enjoyed writing and painting T-Shirts.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 22 years, Frank Murdaugh, of Cornville; her sons, Butch Merrill with his wife Karen of Cornville, and Brian Merrill of Oceanside, Calif.; her daughter, Terri Merrill of Clarkdale; her sister, Rose Jaehnen; as well as 15 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at the Emanuel Fellowship Church on Saturday, Dec. 30, 9 a.m., with the funeral service to follow at noon.
