Kathy Palmer has become an affiliate of American Advisory Group, relocating her financial advisory practice to Cottonwood to work with the team at Geronimo Financial, LLC.
Palmer, who is an Investment Advisor Representative with OneAmerica Securities, Inc. is also a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and a registered paraplanner.
Noting that her popular free series of workshops "Women and Wealth" will start again soon, Palmer says, "My recent move is indicative of my desire to be part of a supportive working camaraderie and I was attracted to the level of competence that working with Alan Freedman and Keya Hanson offered."
"I want to continue to partner with women to become their consistent and trusted guide for financial and investment decisions, helping those I serve reflect their values to create a legacy that meets their goals, both for today and tomorrow."
"Women call me when they want to review their present life circumstances and identify their personal and professional goals; when they need solutions for financial and life planning challenges."
In her more than 17 years in the financial planning business, she has developed the capability to advise her clientele on a wide range of issues and strategies relating not only to investment management but also to quality of life issues. She helps many of her clients in reorganizing their finances and their lifestyles to develop a customized investment portfolio designed to meet individual needs, preferences and goals, both long and short-term.
"My services are valuable to women at every level," says Palmer, who is a member of the Sedona Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. "Working closely with other women business owners I can help design a comprehensive financial portfolio with qualified retirement plans both for themselves and their employees."
Palmer recently earned the designation of Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)Æ by completing a comprehensive course through the Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA). As a CSA, Palmer will participate in continuing education that emphasizes ethical selling and business practices and volunteer service specific to seniors.
Her Cottonwood location gives Palmer the chance to spend more time in the communities of the Verde Valley educating and raising awareness of the value of planning one's financial future.
