Lobos Over Cowboys 39-0
The Cottonwood Lobos jumped out to an early lead with an action-packed first quarter, sparked by Greg Childress' 75-yard opening kickoff return for a 6-0 lead. Camp Verde's offense stalled forcing a punt. The Lobos' Carson Sandoval blocked the punt and Tyler Palosaari scored from 28 yards out. Nick Alred passed to Childress for the PAT.
On the Lobos' first play from scrimmage Paul Bissen ran for a 51 yard touchdown. The final score in the first quarter came on a Childress 36-yard run for a 26-0 Lobo lead. The lone score in the second quarter came off a 47-yard run by Eric Demar. Bissen kicked the PAT, for a 33-0 half lead. Matt Chavez scored late in the forth quarter for a 39-0 Lobo victory.
"Our young guys got the bulk of the playing time and responded well," said coach Jack Gebhart. "They played hard and made few mistakes, great job guys."

Lobos too much for Page
The Lobo line dominated the Page defense compiling 526 yards and eight touchdowns. The line's performance was staggering. They controlled the Page defense from the opening play to the last play.
The Lobos' first score came off a Sandoval 37-yard run, Paul Bissen kicked the PAT. Sandoval scored again on a 54-yard run. Richie Saucedo closed out the first quarter scoring on a 7-yard pass from Nick Alred for a 19-0 lead.
Early in the second quarter Alred passed to Sandoval for a huge 95-yard score. Nick Alred scored on a 45 yard run. Page answered with a 30-yard score and a PAT for a 31-8 Lobo lead.
On the last play of the first half Sandoval picked off a Page pass for a 45-yard interception touchdown. Early in the third quarter Sandoval scored on a 70-yard run.
In the forth quarter Junior Chavez scored on a 44-yard run. Evan McFarland closed out the game on a 28-yard run for a Loboa win, 55-8.
