Annette Lucille Cross, 44, of Cottonwood, died March 31, 2007.
She was born March 26, 1963, to Jerry E. and Christine (Balich) Cross in Bisbee, where she attended the local schools and graduated from Thatcher High School. Annette then went on to the University of Arizona, in Tucson, where she received her bachelor's degree in Psychology. Her master's degree of Psychology was obtained at Bowie State University in Maryland.
Following her education, Annette worked six years in Annapolis, Md., in Vocational Rehabilitation and Family Assistance. In 1992, Annette returned to Arizona, where she worked for the Department of Economic Security as a Rehabilitation Counselor up to the time of her passing.
Annette leaves behind her parents, Jerry and Christine Cross of Cottonwood; and her sister, Sharyl Cross of Garmisch, Germany.
Friends and family are encouraged to make donations to the Special Education Programs of the Mingus Union, Camp Verde, and Sedona High Schools.
A Visitation will be held at Westcott Funeral Home on Friday, April 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. April 7 at the Church of the Red Rocks in Sedona. Immediately following the funeral service, Annette will be laid to rest at the Sedona Community Cemetery.
