Jack Ware died on Aug. 8, 2007, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born Feb. 18, 1924, in Tulsa, Okla.
He served as a naval officer in World War II in the Pacific Theater on PC1210. He received a BA from the University of Iowa and spent his career as the consummate professional TV and radio broadcaster in Phoenix and Cottonwood. He was married to the late Elizabeth "Buff" Ware.
He is survived by his children Wendye (Larry) Ostresh, William (Christie) Ware, Lisa (Bauer) Duke; and step-children Sharon (Tom) Kinman, Tim Henthorn and Jeff Henthorn. He has 15 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
