Police looking for armed robber

Cottonwood Police are looking for a suspect that may have been responsible for two armed robberies. The first case occurred at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Domino's Pizza at 415 South Main St. The business was robbed of approximately $76.

A second armed robbery was reported at 1:22 a.m. Dec. 1 at the AM/PM store at 898 S. Main St., where about $360 in cash was taken.

In one case, a victim observed a weapon.

Police investigators now believe that both robberies may have been committed by the same person. Generally, the suspect is described as a white male, standing 5-7 to 5-9 tall and weighing 120 to 150 pounds. The wanted man possibly has hazel eyes and short black hair. He is believed to be 23 to 28 years old. Police warn that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
