NAWBO Chapter Announces 2007 Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards
Nominations now being accepted, winners honored in may
Nomination forms are available for the outstanding women business owners in the Verde Valley who will be honored in May.
The Sedona Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is accepting nominations until March 1 for its prestigious fourth annual Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards that will take place on May 17 at the Hilton Sedona Spa & Resort, 90 Ridge Trail Village of Oak Creek.
Nominations are being accepted in four categories, including Trailblazer, illustrating an innovative business idea and original way to enter the business marketplace; Customer Relations, known for outstanding customer service; Non-Profit, founded and successfully leads a non-profit organization, and Community Service, exemplifying community service through her community philanthropy and involvement.

"We encourage women business owners to nominate themselves. Women entrepreneurs are active in the business marketplace throughout the country and the women business owners in Verde Valley deserve this special recognition," said Sharon Hooper, president of NAWBO Sedona, Vision Journeys and Sanctuary Publications. "We also encourage people to think of women business owners who fit in these categories and deserve to be honored."
NAWBO is the only dues-based national organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs in all types of businesses. The organization currently has almost 7,000 members in more than 80 chapters nationwide.
