A visit to Camp Verde
My husband and I visit Camp Verde several times a year as we enjoy the area. Several weeks ago, we were there with our two dogs. Saturday morning we discovered that one of our tires was low on air.
We drove to Tire Pro Automotive and discovered that it had a nail and could not be repaired. Not only were the employees fast and courteous, but also our dogs received their favorite treat.
The damaged tire was fairly new and had road hazard insurance. However, we did not have room in the trunk for the tire. Tire Pro offered to keep it for us in case we needed it for our insurance adjustment. We were hoping that the original tire company could collaborate with Tire Pro, and we would not need to return for it.
Unfortunately, this was not the case. Policy mandated that we turn in the tire. Since we do not travel every weekend to Camp Verde, I called Tire Pro and asked if they could keep the tire longer than planned. Don was the employee who took my call. He mentioned that he was going to a Diamondbacks game and suggested we meet, and he would give us our tire. What a terrific idea! The event took place at I-17 and Carefree Highway.
We received $42 for the damaged tire. A check for $20 is now in the mail for Tire Pro's Christmas party.
Isn't that a wonderful story about strangers helping strangers!
