John J. "Jack" McCoy, 70, of Cottonwood, died Sept. 7, 2007. He was born April 15, 1937, in Alma, Kan. to John and Rosemarie McCoy.
Jack was a teacher at the Yavapai Community College where he taught English, senior aerobics and weight training. He was an avid runner, and a member of the Valley Athletic Club.
He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Cathy McCoy of Cottonwood; his sons, Mark McCoy (Grace) of California, Matthew McCoy of California, John McCoy of Idaho, and Michael McCoy of Arizona; his brothers, Jerre of California, and Tom of Texas; his sisters, Sharron of Nebraska, and Mary of New Mexico; and two grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be at Westcott Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 13, at 10 am.
