Virginia H. Robinson 1920 - 2007

Virginia Hop Robinson, 87, born in Phillipsburg, Kan., resided in Cottonwood, Tempe and Phoenix.

She was born Jan. 14, 1920. She died Sept. 18, 2007.

She was the wife of the late Very Reverend Donald B. Robinson, graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney. In mid-life, earned Master's and Doctor's degrees in education from Arizona State University, she taught school in Nebraska, then got married, raised four children and functioned as a minister's wife at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Phoenix and at churches in Nebraska and Kansas. Later in life, she supervised student teachers at Arizona State University and worked as a Language Arts Administrator for Roosevelt School District in Phoenix. Following retirement she lived in Tempe and Cottonwood and Florence, Oregon.

She is survived by two daughters Anne and Mary, two sons William and Leslie, 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A private remembrance will be held by the family in October.

The family requests that donations be made to the University of Nebraska Foundation, Kearney Office, PO Box 2678, Kearney, NE 68848, and designated for the Clayton H. Adee Memorial Endowed Scholarship at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
