Revival set at Cottonwood Baptist

Evangelist Ray McCormick and family

Evangelist Ray McCormick and family

Evangelist Ray McCormick returns to Cottonwood Baptist Church for four days of revival meetings this week, Sunday through Wednesday, April 20-23.

According to McCormick, "Revival is possible today and will come through the obedience of God's people." McCormick is truly passionate about the things of God, and about reaching God's people with a message of truth. "We always appreciate it when Ray and his special family return to Cottonwood" said long-time church member Nancy Wallison. "He has a way of opening the scriptures in a way that everyone can understand the message."

A native of North Carolina, Ray McCormick is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College and has served in several churches in the southwest United States. He now travels with his family full-time as an evangelist, and visits dozens of churches each year. He delivers a serious message of salvation to all, while adding his own humorous wit.

Revival services are scheduled for Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday meetings will all start at 7 p.m.

Cottonwood Baptist Church is an independent local Christian congregation located at 102 E. Pima Street in Old Town Cottonwood, behind city hall. Services are traditional and Bible-based. The church family welcomes all visitors.
