Dominique

Dominique is a spirited eighth grader who has been waiting for a Big Sister for almost a year.

She really wants someone to hang out and laugh with.

Someone who likes what she likes, and can help her see what her future could be.

She is a sports enthusiast interested in volleyball, basketball, and soccer.

She also likes music and art. Her favorite subject in school is math. Dominique is an all-around great teen, with a future so bright she should wear sunglasses.

Sometimes it is difficult to see what the future may hold when you are almost an adult, sometimes life gets confusing.

Teens are like explorers- often without maps.

When an exploring teen has a guide, someone who can share their past experience and create new, shared moments, the difference we make matters.

Dominique is a fun and spirited young lady, but sometimes she feels challenged by the issues common to most teens.

Challenges such as boys, friends, school, and parents can often be very consuming to a young lady without a guide.

Many Big Sisters and Big Brothers say how much more they got out of being a Big than they gave.

To be a great Big Sister to this special kid, all you need is a sense of humor, an interest in volleyball or art, and the willingness to include her in these activities that you already do!

Dominique is one of many girls and boys who are waiting for a Big Brother, Big Sister, Big Couple or Big Family right here.

Whether you live in Sedona or Clarkdale, Cottonwood or Camp Verde, YBBBS has a child who needs what you have in abundance.

The time has come to share yourself with a child in need. When you're a volunteer Big, you don't just make a difference; you become the difference that matters most in the life of a child. Call our Verde Valley/ Sedona office at 928-634-9789, or online www.azbigs.org
