Letter: Thanks for the great customer service

We need more courteous business personnel as I have discovered that the Verde Independent does employ.

I woke this morning and like every other Wednesday morning I did my usual routine of waking rituals before opening my front door to retrieve my Wednesday morning pleasure, my Verde Independent. Only on this morning, July 2, my newspaper was no where to be found.

Disappointed and a little miffed, I immediately picked up my phone and dialed the main office, where I was greeted with a very friendly voice, and a huge apology for the error and a promise that it would be immediately fixed.

Within 30 minutes, a young lady was knocking on my front door with my Wednesday paper in her hand. I was more than pleased with not only the very courteous response by both women, but the quickness in which the dilemma was resolved.

My hat's off to the Verde Independent and their amazing staff. My only wish would be that more businesses would offer the same "people consideration and satisfaction."
