Gallery: Cottonwood Police Department Promotion Ceremony

The Cottonwood Police Department held a promotion ceremony at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Public Safety Building. Retired Police Chief Doug Bartosh, who is now Cottonwood City Manager, officially promoted Jody Fanning to the position of Chief. Fanning then promoted Sgt. Tim Pierce to Commander; Detective Joshua Fradette to Sgt; Tod Moore from Sgt to Detective Sgt: Officer Monica Kuhlt to Detective. Officer Matt Watson received an award from the Governor's Office of Highway Safety as the Outstanding Officer of the Year for a Rural Department.
