Charles "David" Teague, 81, of Clarkdale, died March 19. He was born Nov. 14, 1926, in Globe.
He was an Army veteran and worked in Air Research in Phoenix.
David was an avid golfer who won many trophies. He was a member of the Verde Santa Fe Golf Club. Years ago, he ran the Verde Valley Country Club with his late wife Darlene. His other interests included fishing, bowling and dancing. He was a wonderful caring brother.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Darlene Teague.
David is survived by his companion, Joanne Coffman; sons, Michael David Teague of Virginia and Kent Teague (and his wife Kim) of Arkansas; a daughter Stella Jane Kuntz of Mesa; two sisters, Mary Anne Duran (and her husband Onofre) of Cottonwood and Sally Jane Ochoa (and her husband Charles) of North Caroline; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A vigil service will be held on Sunday, March 23, in the Westcott Funeral Home at 6 p.m.. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, March 24, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10 a.m.
