150 Candles for Theodore

It was a birthday party, a 150th birthday party, to be exact. Oct. 27, Montezuma Castle National Monument sponsored the sesquicentennial observance of the birth of President Theodore Roosevelt. John Reid, park ranger at Tuzigoot National Monument, presented a talk on the accomplishments of Roosevelt as the Ranger Division of Montezuma Castle, Montezuma Well and Tuzigoot sponsored a party. Below, Rex Vanderford, park ranger at Montezuma Well, strikes a pose at the birthday observance for Theodore Roosevelt.
