Rainbow Acres Celebrates 35 Years of Ministry

Rainbow Acres is celebrating 35 years of ministry to over 350 adults with developmental disabilities. Founded in 1974 by Dr. Ralph Showers - an American Baptist minister and a man who suffered from a physical disability - Rainbow Acres has been a place where adults with disabilities could live life with meaning, purpose, dignity and spiritual strength.

Located in Arizona's scenic Verde Valley, Rainbow Acres has grown into a state-of-the-art campus with nine brand new homes and a 10,000 square foot Community Center that is currently under construction.

Rainbow Acres invites you to attend its 35th Anniversary Celebration, which will take place in Camp Verde on Oct. 30-Nov. 1. The Celebration will be a weekend-long affair with a southwest-style celebration of Rainbow Heroes, Ranch open house, gala awards banquet, and honorary Sunday morning church services.
