Entry forms available for Chamber Golf Tournament

COTTONWOOD - Early Bird Rates have been extended until July 11, but Foursome spots are filling up for the seventh annual Cottonwood Chamber Golf Challenge.

Entry forms are still available at the Chamber office, Verde Santa Fe Golf Course and Butler-Leavitt Insurance as well as the ability to register online at www.cottonwoodchamberaz.com.

The tournament registration will begin at 7 a.m., and a Shotgun start is scheduled for 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, at the beautiful Verde Santa Fe Golf Club. Price includes a continental breakfast and wonderful buffet lunch catered by Verde Santa Fe Grille.

The tournament committee, chaired by Lori Mabery, is working hard to make this fun community event a sell out once again. There will be a Tiger Woods shot on #9 and a Caddy for the hole benefit for Buena Vista Children Services on #14 as well. Joining major sponsor RHiPEO are Moseng Chiropractic, Northern Arizona Rehabilitation and Fitness, UniSource Energy, Coldwell Banker-Mabery Real Estate, Bank of America Home Loans, and Verde Santa Fe Golf Club. Moseng Chiropractic is also putting up a $25,000 cash prize for a hole-in-one. Tee and cart sponsorships are still available for only $50.

Chamber volunteers are calling on community businesses for silent auction items, raffle prizes and items to be included in the golfers "goodie bags."

In previous years, the outpouring of generosity from the business community allowed almost every participant to go home with a raffle or silent auction prize. To participate as a player, sponsor or to donate a prize, please Lana or Christian at the Chamber office at (928) 634-7593 or e-mail Christian at Christian@cottonwoodchamberaz.org.
