Robert "Bob" H. Reeves, 85, of Cottonwood, died Sunday, May 31. He was born May 25, 1924, in Casper, Wyo., the son of William Edwin and Thelma Parker Reeves.

He attended the University of Wyoming where he received a degree in Wildlife Biology. He served his country in the Marine Corps during World War II.

Mr. Reeves worked for Arizona Fish and Game and Fish as a Game Surveyor. He later became a teacher at the Clarkdale-Jerome School for over 20 years. Bob participated in the re-enactment of the first Spanish Explorers in the Verde Valley and was a member of the Horseman's Council.

He enjoyed horseback riding, ranching and the great outdoors. He also loved boating, waterskiing, fishing and camping with his family.

Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Bob loved to dance and lived life to the fullest. He was an amazing teacher and was loved by many of his students.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Gloria Lee Reeves; son Alan Reeves (Jennifer) of Cottonwood; stepson Tim Goldfarb (Laura) of Gainesville, Florida; sister Charlotte House (Phil) of Mesa; and three grandchildren.
