The Old Town Association and Randall's Restaurant of Cottonwood are sponsoring a 1950s Doo-Whoppin' Sock Hop Cruiz-In along Historic 89A on Saturday, June 27.
From 3 to 4 p.m. hang at the ice cream social or spin those poodles during free dance lessons. From 4 to 6 p.m. continue dancing during the Sock Hop, hula contest and costume contest or meander the Old Town trivia hunt. From 6 p.m. on enjoy a free dance or mosey on over to the Civic Center for unstAble youth in an event to support the Boys and Girls Club.
This 1950s Doo-Whoppin' Sock Hop Cruiz-In is looking to be kill with a trivia trail through the merchants, sock hop, hula hoop and costume contests, and an ice cream social with '50s music spinning all evening long. Watch all those beautiful '50s cruisers you'd wish to be playing back seat bingo in as you sashay through town.
Come meander with your slicked-back hair and folded up leather J, in a poodle skirt, rolled up jeans or maybe just a polka dot scarf. Enjoy the activities in Old Town Cottonwood on Historic 89A. Then spin on over to the Civic Center at 6 p.m. and continue your night with unstAble youth in their production sponsoring the Boys and Girls Club.

July 8-10, Lisa Pender (Little Lisa's and OTA president) and Annabel Sclippa are attending the Governor's Conference on Tourism in Phoenix, based on a scholarship received from the Governor's Office.
