VOCA, sheriff's office boost patrols on unattended dogs in Kiwanis Park

VOCA will be working with the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office and Yavapai County Animal Control to educate the public regarding loose dogs in VOCA's Kiwanis Park.

The Village of Oakcreek Association requests that all residents using the park comply with Yavapai County Leash Laws.

There have been many concerns expressed about the interaction between children as well as other dogs (no leash) with dogs allowed to run free.

VOCA does not indorse or encourage the use of this public park as a "DOG PARK." Anyone interested in information about Yavapai County Leash Laws can pick up a copy of the Ordinance at the VOCA office.

With additional signage and help from Yavapai County Animal Control we hope to bring the ever increasing number of loose dogs in the park under control.

If you are concerned with the safety or condition of the park due to violations of the Yavapai County Leash Law please contact the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office at: 928-567-7710.

Thank you for your help in keeping our park safe and enjoyable for all area residents who wish to use it.
