Christ Center Church Easter service at RRHS

Sedona musician and pastor, Frank Robinson, invites the Sedona community to a special Easter Service at Red Rock High School; because, as Pastor Frank says, “everybody can use a dose of hope right now.”

The 10 a.m. service is sponsored by Christ Center Church and will be one hour in length. According to Pastor Robinson, this service will be “a celebration. We want people to experience the gift of God’s resurrecting power to lighten, renew, and refresh their souls as they cope with their current challenges.” There will be music, fun, an Easter egg hunt for the kids, and a message of hope. Following the celebration, refreshments will be offered along with more music.

“Make no mistake, this is a worship service,” Pastor Robinson said. “The Easter message is a celebration of the resurrection, God’s gift of new life.”

The Church at 580 Brewer Road is bringing their musical worship team to the school to create an experience that will be long remembered. The music group plays every Sunday and is known for its contemporary and meaningful stylings led by their guitar playing and singing pastor.

Pastor Robinson first became interested in music when, as a 10 year old, he heard the Vatican Boy’s Choir. The next year he heard the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show and instantly, he wanted to be a guitar player. He knows how to reach out to an audience and bring joy through music.

The goal on Easter Sunday is to have a service where people can feel safe and comfortable to engage in beliefs of the divine in a safe harbor of hope - while experiencing something special in Sedona. “The children will be dismissed at the time of the message, so they can go outside for the Easter egg hunt; What better place than right here among the wonderful views of Sedona?”

Verde Valley Christian Church Announces Easter Sunrise Service

The annual Easter Sunrise Service at Verde Valley Christian Church will be held in a new location this year. The service will be held at the church’s new building site, 551 S. Broadway, Clarkdale. An outdoor amphitheater has been constructed, because of an Eagle Boy Scout project, and the service will be held there.

Doug Freeman will be bringing the message entitled, “Bright Sadness”. Following the service the annual fish and bread breakfast will be held, also at the new site. Just as Jesus ate fish and bread with his disciples on that resurrection day, we will eat bread & fish to celebrate that occasion.

It will probably be cold that morning, so dress warmly. This will be a service that will prepare you to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The whole family will enjoy it, so invite your family and friends and join together with us for this special service.

The service will begin at 6 a.m. with the fish-and-bread breakfast immediately following.

The regular morning worship services will be held at the usual site, Dr. Daniel Bright School, at 8:30 and 10:15 a.m. Jim Hammond will be concluding his series, “Darkness to Dawn” at these services on Easter morning,
