Meet Big Sister Isabelle and Little Sister Aniesa.

So you know how to swim, hike, play catch, watch movies, bake cookies, or just plain have fun – what are you waiting for? Sign up now to become a Big Brother or Big Sister! It is really that simple!

Meet Big Sister Isabelle and Little Sister Aniesa.

Aniesa is 10 years old and in the fourth grade. Aniesa likes bowling and trampolines because they are fun to jump on. When she grows up, Aniesa would like to be a nurse or a doctor and work at a hospital to help people get better. Aniesa wanted a Big Sister to have someone to have fun with and learn about new things.

Isabelle decided to be a Big Sister because she wanted to give back to her community. Having a Little Sister would give her a good excuse to get out on the weekends and have some extra fun!

Together, Isabelle and Aniesa are very active and always have a blast. At Out of Africa, they have watched fantastic wildlife in action roaming the park. This past September, Isabelle and Aniesa volunteered together with Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters at Cliff Castle Casino’s 10th annual Thunder Valley Rally. Recently, they both attended a Big Brothers Big Sisters sponsored event traveling on the Grand Canyon Railway to visit the Grand Canyon, which they both said was “so much fun!”

This past weekend Isabelle and Aniesa joined Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters in Cottonwood’s Annual Christmas Parade riding on the float with other Bigs and Littles.

When Isabelle and Aneisa are not out on the town soaking up the sites, they will get together and bake cookies or make some arts and crafts. For the holiday times, they will put together holiday cards to give to friends and family.

Being a Big Sister or Big Brother is one of the most rewarding things you will ever do. Of the hundreds of kids waiting for a Big right now, there’s one wanting to go on a hike, bake cookies or just hang out with someone like you.
