Gale L. Hobbs 1938 - 2010

Gale L. Hobbs of Clarkdale, Arizona, went to be with his Lord December 16, 2010 at the age of 72.

Gale was the son of Frank and Charlene Hobbs, and was a native of Arizona. He married his loving wife Jeannette 52 years ago. Gale retired from Honeywell and moved to Cottonwood where he started a small business.

He later worked at Lumberman’s Lumber Co. Gale was a 26 year veteran of the Arizona National Guard.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, he loved his vegetable gardens, pool parties and target shooting with his two sons and grandson.

Gale is survived by his wife, Jeannette, two sons, Lance and Craig; brother, Charles and two sisters, Patty and Barbara, three grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley and Breanna.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Karen, and brother Don. Services will be held at 11 a.m. December 21 at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St. Graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
