Alfred Vincent (Bob) Milkowski

Alfred Vincent (Bob) Milkowski, 83, of Cornville died Jan. 18 at his home. He was born July 17, 1926, in Central Point, Oregon, the son of Alfred John and Velma Milkowski.

Mr. Milkowski had his commercial pilots license and was a flight instructor. He worked 26 years for the telephone company GTE. He was an engineer and inventor. One of his innovations was awarded a patent for GTE telephone.

Mr. Milkowski loved to garden and play his violin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Bill Milkowski.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary; sons Richard of Costa Rico, Don of Cottonwood and Dan (Cyndy) of Cottonwood; sisters Bettie Lynd (Jim) of Aumsville, Oregon and Beverlie Wolfe (Lloyd) of Salem, Oregon; and three grandchildren.
