Miller’s Market has new partnership

Delicatessen begins third year

CLARKDALE – Miller’s Market at 915 Main St. in Clarkdale has recently had a partial change of ownership. Rachel Jackson and Laura Jones opened the business in Feb. 2008. Now Dylan Ross has replaced Jones in the partnership.

The general store and delicatessen still offers the same products it has for the past two years. Boars Head meats are featured along with cheeses, local bread and baked goods. Candy, drinks and ice cream are also offered.

TF Miller’s was the original mercantile in Clarkdale back when the mines were in operation. Rachel said she and Jones decided to use the name Miller’s because they wanted people to realize the business was locally owned. The Jackson family has been in the Jerome and Clarkdale area for six generations. Rachel’s mother, Maria Jackson, works in the business most days.

Rachel said there aren’t many service businesses in Clarkdale. She said the deli offers a healthy meal that is prepared with the finest quality ingredients. Friendly service is the biggest draw, according to Rachel.

Hours are 8 to 4 Monday through Friday and 10 to 2 on Saturday. The business is closed on Sunday.
