At the creek

¡Kwere setting up tripods and shooting photos of Cathedral Rock, I sat on a rock with Oak Creek flowing by me and enjoyed the warmth of the sun and searched for something that spoke to me. I exhausted most of the usual suspects as the lighting was so ¡§midday¡-; flat and lacking in life. About the time I finished my diet coke I began looking at the creek bed and was amazed at the colors, motion and beauty of it. So I stood up and began taking some shots experimenting with shutter speeds so I could get the effect I wanted. All in all I ended up with about 30 shots and like most of them. Hope you enjoy this natural piece of art ¡Kwish I could lay claim to it, but all I did was capture the beauty so I could share it. l ¡Kand yes Fred, it was shot with ISO 100 º

It was a busy day and a lot of work was finished before I headed down to the creek at 3:30; visits with friends completed the day and now Friday is pretty well underway. An excellent Kona coffee is resident in the coffee maker and in a little over four hours it will give me my wakeup call as it grinds the beans and I begin anticipating that wonderful liquid to begin the day anew. Another day packed with work, adventure and the search for beauty ¡Khave a terrific weekend and I¡¦ll be back Monday morning.

Take care, be well

Ted
