MATForce announces its annual "My Voice Makes a Difference" Youth Video Contest. Area youth ages 11 to 18 are invited to let their voices be heard by creating a video depicting how their voice makes a positive difference in helping to reduce drug and alcohol abuse.
Youth can create a 15 to 30 second commercial announcement or a 1 to 2 minute video. Winners will be chosen from two age categories: middle school and high school. Previous year's winning entries can be viewed online on the Youth tab at matforce.org.
Cash card prizes will be awarded in the two age categories. First place winners will receive $300, with second and third place winners receiving $200 and $100 respectively. The winning videos will be used by MATForce online, at schools and at community events.
The contest deadline is Feb. 10, 2012. For contest guidelines and entry form visit matforce.org or call (928) 708-0100.
