Yavapai Community Foundation awards grants

The Yavapai Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Arizona Community foundation has awarded $180,417 in grants to 30 non-profits in Yavapai County.

Among the list of recipients this year, are:

• Cottonwood Police Department: K9 Program, $4,091

• Central AZ Land Trust: Agricultural land trust program $8,875

• Verde NRCD: Invasive species project $2,295

• Golden Cobra Fitness; Scholarship program, $1,738

• Catholic Charities; Paths of HOPE Prosperity Programs $5,700

• Cornucopia Community Advocates: Cornville Food Bank Building Project, $1,500

• Friends of Beaver Creek Library: Collection for special needs, 1,500

• Camp Verde Adult Reading Program; Technology upgrades, $6,780
