Pax

A couple of years ago friends from Minneapolis stopped in for a visit and brought us a plant that has flourished which under my care is a bit of a novelty. About a week ago it began developing what looked like a white leaf (it was faced towards the wall) so I took a closer look because I feared I had finally managed to kill it off. I discovered that it was a bloom and in fact a Peace Lily (not really a lily) and it is now turned the proper way and we are enjoying its beauty. Thank you Barb and Kathy!

A day of finishing projects long delayed and listing items on eBay that have graced the floor in my office for a few months; room for more now. Corky had a good day and got a lot of her Kindle book read. Q enjoyed a couple of outings and was glad to get back into coolness when we came in.

A quiet day now begun and we expect that it shall be good. The quotation from Max tonight is from his book Breaking Home Ties in which a father is instructing his son on life and the ways of the world. Our daughter Joleen knows how much I enjoy his writings and gave me this first edition book as a gift last year. Thanks again Jogi ¡K another birthday coming up º

Enjoy the day ¡K life ¡K and those whom you are with today.

Cheers

Ted
