Donna Marie Crane-Wilson of Rimrock went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2011 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on November 30th, 1959 in Phoenix, AZ to Gerald Wayne Crane and Dora Lou Lane. She attended Mingus Union High School, class of 1977. Donna was certified and worked in many professional fields during her adult life but ended her career as an Accounting/Operations Manager for Crystal I.T. and Springboard Health Care Staffing in Phoenix.
Donna is precede by her stepfather Quentin Hughes and her mother Dora (Dobie) Lou Lane and is survived by her children; Bethany Marie Haines, Mitchell Davis Haines, Benjamin Taylor Scott, daughter in law Elisha Tavasci Scott and two granddaughters, Faith and Tavi Scott, along with her brothers Gerry (Chappo) Crane, Tim Crane, Eddie (Stretch) Hughes and Tom Hughes.
Donna was one of the kindest and most giving people you would ever hope to meet. She loved planting flowers, gardening, going to the lake, watching Bethany play softball, spending time with friends, family and her puppy Maggie and frequently included her “grandgirls” in these activities. She is most loved and will be greatly missed by many.
A Memorial Service will be held on June 25th at Living Waters Retreat Center at 595 N. Aspaas Road in Cornville at 1 p.m. There will be a pot luck after the service so family and friends can share memories. Please bring a side dish to share, main course will be provided. Flowers can be brought to the ceremony.
