Clarkdale under water Strategy Level 1

Under the Town of Clarkdale's water ordinance, Drought and Water Shortage Preparedness Strategy Level 1 is automatically in effect from May 1 through Sept. 30 each year. Effective May 1 at 12:01 a.m. the town will move into Demand Reduction Strategy 1 Water Alert. The following measures are mandatory.

Outdoor water usage shall not occur between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Water days shall be coordinated by address. Even numbered addresses may irrigate on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Odd numbered addresses may irrigate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. For places where there is no discernable address, the even date schedule should be followed. No irrigation shall be allowed on Monday.

Updates to Resource Status Levels and Demand Reduction Strategies will be posted on the Town's website: Signage is also in place throughout the town providing notice of prevailing Demand Reduction Strategy Level: Strategy 1= water alert; Strategy II = water emergency; and Strategy III = water crisis.
