To shoot a few flowers

This was a fun weekend and back to work in a few hours. Today, Corky and I headed up to the airport to get some shots of Steve landing the Falcon 900 as it touched down. The winds were 20+kt, gusting to 30 + knots and it was a beautiful landing. Shortly thereafter Steve joined Corky and I for bit of lunch and Steve and I spent some time shooting flowers; he is an avid photographer too. The iris in tonight's shot had a special glow and inner world to get lost in; nice bloom Liz, and wouldn't expect any less from your irises.

I got some nice shots of the takeoff this evening as well as some long shadow shots, but another night for those. Monday is off to a terrific start so ...

Enjoy the day and live each moment granted.
