Cottonwood needs volunteers for Board of Adjustment

The City of Cottonwood is seeking volunteers to fill three vacancies on the Council appointed five-member Board of Adjustment. Each seat is for a three-year term. This Board is a quasi-judicial decision-making body that hears variance requests and appeals of decisions of the Zoning Administrator. Training is available. The Board meets on an as-needed basis on the third Wednesday of each month in the Council Chambers at 6 p.m.

If you are a resident of the City of Cottonwood interested in serving your community, please considering volunteering. Commission/Board member applications are available at the Human Resources office, 816 N. Main St., or by calling 340-2713, or on-line at www.cottonwoodaz.gov. Completed applications should be returned to 816 N Main St. no later than 3:00 PM on October 12, 2011.
