Cottonwood-Oak Creek unveils student transportation plan for Mountain View Preparatory IB Program

Beginning next year, the Cottonwood Oak-Creek School District will offer transportation for students attending Mountain View Preparatory Candidate International Baccalaureate program who live in the Camp Verde area.

Transportation will be available to students currently enrolled at MVP, and new enrollees. There will not be neighborhood bus stops, but centralized stops will be made available in the Cottonwood, Cornville, Rimrock and Camp Verde communities. Parents will be responsible to bring their children to and from the designated centralized stops.

These stops will be established once enrollment is confirmed.

MVP will be re-located to Tavasci School from its current location at Dr. Daniel Bright School.  This change was made to facilitate rapidly increasing student enrollment, a result of the demand for the IB program.

In addition to the Primary Year Program, C-OC will offer the Middle Year Program for children in seventh grade.

Mountain View Preparatory at Tavasci will have limited enrollment in order to maintain the high standards of the program and maximize the space on the campus. Enrollment in MVP's Candidate International Baccalaureate program is still open.
