COTTONWOOD -- The Cottonwood Youth Advisory Commission and the Cottonwood Recreation Center are hosting their third annual Angel Tree. The Angel Tree is a way to help local families in need during the holidays. In the lobby of the Cottonwood Recreation Center, a fir tree is decorated in an assortment of ornaments designated for local children. Each ornament has information about a child's clothing size and gender to help you in purchasing a gift.

If you would like to sponsor a child, please stop by the Cottonwood Recreation Center and pick up an ornament after Friday, Nov. 30 . Unwrapped gifts or capital sponsorships must be returned by Monday, Dec. 17.

Don't feel like shopping? You can donate funds and we will do the shopping for you. Please plan on budgeting $40 per child. Thank you for your help and consideration. For more information please call the Cottonwood Parks and Recreation Department at (928) 639-3200 or stop by 150 S. Sixth St.
