Enter Cottonwood Christmas Parade now

COTTONWOOD-- Line "em up! The 58th Annual Cottonwood Christmas Parade is organizing. Entries that step up early will qualify for a discount entry fee of $25 for a commercial or business entry and $10 for a non-profit, school, club or organization. Enter by Nov.2 to qualify.

Anchors of the Verde Historical Society and the Clemenceau Heritage Museum, Helen Killebrew and Betty Gaudy are the parade Grand Marshals this year.

The 2012 theme is simply, "Christmas," which allows a large range of ideas for decorating your entry.

Prizes for parade winners will each receive $100 in six categories. Those brackets include" "Best Display of Theme," "Most Creative," "Non-Profit/Schools," "Clubs & Organizations," "Commercial," and of course, "Judge's Choice."

The deadline for all entries is Nov. 20. After the early entry deadline Nov. 2, entry fees will be $40 for a commercial or business entry and $20 for a non-profit/school/Club and organization. The parade will go on regardless of weather.

Make checks payable to Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce and drop off or mail to 1010 S. Main St., Cottonwood AZ 86326.
