Biker accidents in Jerome

JEROME -- Jerome Fire crews were called to two motorcycle accidents back to back on Labor Day. The first accident occurred when a rider struck a guardrail and was thrown from his bike about MP 341 on SR 89a, about four miles south of the center of Jerome. The man was stabilized and taken by ambulance to the Verde Valley Medical Center.

A second accident was reported by a motorist, but no patient was ever recovered. The woman said she saw a biker in her rear-view mirror go off the bike and she described the man as rolling down the road after the accident. She reported the incident, but responding fire crews could never find anyone.
