Wild Walmart shooter

COTTONWOOD -- Walmart called Cottonwood Police Sunday on a report that a man was shooting out their parking lot lights.

Police apprehended a man matching that of the suspect as he was walking from the store and disarmed him. He had a fixed blade knife on the shoulder strap of his backpack. In his pockets he had sandwiches and bottled water reportedly taken from Walmart.

Clifton Fleet, 32, of Camp Verde carried three hand held BB guns in his backpack. Witnesses reported, and Walmart surveillance video confirmed, that Fleet had shot out five street lights in the Walmart lot and another one at Carl's Jr.

Fleet was arrested and charged with six counts of disorderly conduct, six of endangerment, felony criminal damage and shoplifting.
