Imagine

... you are viewing Rogers Lake with a bit of a historical viewpoint ... the good old days in the forties and fifties when the lake was full of water and it was relatively deep and there were many large yachts on the lake; the back drop of the San Francisco Peaks and you are on your private ship enjoying a beautiful spring day with your family taking in all the beauty ... that is how it used to be and my friend Bob showed me photos taken back then. For whatever reason the lake was drained and seldom has water in it these days. Still, it is beautiful and it is now in the public domain and an important refuge and wetlands. Why not preserve some of those wonderful days from the past though? I'm sure that those outings were just as important to those people as my escape to the sky is to me...people count too.

Late and another busy one, but it starts with a visit from my cousin Arlyn and his delightful bride Bonnie.

Enjoy the day and take in all the beauty around you ... and give thanks.

Cheers

Ted

So each one to his wish, and as for me,

I sit tonight and wait

To find the answers to my soul in me,

And in the beauty of the sky and sea.
