The view from this angle

The view... from above the rocks yields beautiful patterns and when coupled with music by Anugama a spiritual quality is added to it. I took this shot on the way back to Sedona on my last flight today. I had been shooting an area of Hoodoos' in the north east section of Sycamore Canyon and although I got some good ones, nothing hit me right tonight so I deleted all of them and kept a few more like this one. I know what I want, but just have not been able to line it up the way I want ... a few large rocks are in the way :+) On my first flight with Russ this morning I got some neat shots of the peaks and looking east the entire painted desert was covered in ground fog. The air was crystal clear looking towards the North Rim and you could see detail in it from the Peaks. So it was a good day today and I rather suspect tomorrow will be too ... why not, as easy to choose that as not and a better result at the end of the day.

Someone suggested that I travel to Terra Haute, Indiana this coming year and sit on the bench that Max used to sit on; I am going to do it and through the wonders of modern technology I will write and send one or more of these missives from that bench ... perhaps One can sit on my lap and we shall sip that joy of comradeship with all mankind ... but we are doing that already.

High winds and rain and snow the rest of the week so likely no flying until next week. More photos to get caught up with not to mention emails to reply to ... and time to start writing again ... and to build another computer :+)

Have a beautiful day today and share your joy, your dreams, and live each moment.

Cheers

Ted

I bring but this one common thought, my life has wrought;

That from the dregs of drear despair, still everywhere

There is a joy I yet may sip - Tis comradeship

With all mankind, the high and low

I know.
