... but oh so fierce. I got this shot of a Sparrow Hawk down at the Gilbert Riparian area last week. I knew it was a Sparrow Hawk because I overheard a Cub Scout group being told it was a Sparrow Hawk, otherwise I was clueless. All I knew was that it was a beautiful albeit diminutive bird of prey, so thanks to the Cub Scouts. I truly am clueless about many of the birds and critters I shoot; just look for beauty and figure they don't have a label for what they are either, they just live being who they are and don't think about it. Humans should try that some century or millennia ... tomorrow works for me. Oh my gosh, we've done it to them too; just went to look up Sparrow Hawk on Wikipedia and there are more than twenty different Sparrow Hawks listed. Wow!

Late again, and want to try for four hours tonight as last night was less than three. Mainlining espresso is becoming the new norm around here. Busy day with many appointments to meet ... but it will be a good day ... and I will find beauty in it and those I who I encounter.
