Gallery: Reunion on the Hill 2013

The Mingus on the Hill Reunion was a hot ticket over the weekend attracting alumni, family and old friends to the Old Jerome High School to reminisce about the days long past; the school was officially closed to students in 1975. Over 200 classmates and their guests attended the afternoon picnic at the school which now houses art studios. The Jerome Historical Society recently re-hung senior pictures of every class in the hallways and classmates were thrilled to tour the school and see their pictures on the wall. 450 people attended the evening event held at the Verde Valley Fairgrounds in Cottonwood. That number included 300 classmates from the classes of 1958-1975 and their guests. Cathy Feld Muldoon, Class of 1963, received a beautiful music box kaleidoscope donated by Nelly Bly in Jerome for traveling the farthest to attend -- 2500 miles, from New Jersey. Mike and Roberta Westcott received an award for being the classmate couple married the longest - 51 years!
