Those of us in the Village love the fact that three golf courses are woven into the fabric of our community! We love it even if we are not golfers! We love to drive past the golf courses and steal vistas of green fairways rimmed with tan-colored stucco homes often with a breathtaking red rock backdrop. We love the greenery, the wide-open spaces and the relaxed, golf atmosphere. Those who are golfers love the golf choices in the Village!
Canyon Mesa is a nine-hole executive gem open to the public. Canyon Mesa is ideal for novices and yet challenging enough for the more experienced.
Due to its short length -- it averages just 140 yards a hole from the white tees -- Canyon Mesa is perfect for those just learning the game. But its narrowness and difficult greens makes it challenging for long-time golfers working on their short game. Canyon Mesa is also the great golf value in Sedona, both in terms of time and fees. Oh! The red rocks at the end of the fairways are inspiring!
The Oakcreek Country Club is Sedona's first golf course; an 18-hole championship golf course, and it is always open to the public!
The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Robert Trent Jones Jr. It is a traditional layout similar to those that you may find in the Midwestern United States. The fairways are classic tree lined doglegs with fairway bunkers strategically placed in the landing areas and greens which are all slightly elevated and surrounded with large swirling greenside bunkers.
Oakcreek Country Club has daily and seasonal rates, and has membership options for everyone!
The Sedona Golf Resort is an 18-hole championship golf course open to the public. The 6,646-yard, par - 71 course has a nice mix of flat and elevation-changing holes. Golfers rave about the greens: multi-tiered, twice breaking and in great condition.
The course is designed around the fabulous red rock views of the Village. The clubhouse and its restaurant are extraordinarily placed for golf course views and red rock vistas. The restaurant is open to the (non-golfing) public, too!
