Alta Dunning 86, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away November 29, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Alta was born to Steven and Nancy Killman in Yuma Arizona on September 28, 1928.

Alta was raised in Buckeye Arizona where she attended high school and beauty school until she moved to Santa Barbara California as a young adult. Alta was a prosperous hairdresser in Santa Barbara for many years.

After marrying her husband Bob Dunning in 1979, Alta moved to Cottonwood Arizona where she resided until her death. Alta is survived by her husband, Bob Dunning, children Roy, Terry, Steve and Patty West, grandchildren Susan, Sam, and Billy Joe in addition to 9 great-grandchildren

Alta is also survived by her twin sister Eltie Davis and sister Opal Alexander. Alta was a loving and creative individual who inspired those she loved.
